there's a different sense of intimacy when you're having a conversation while laying down. it's easier to get comfortable and hash things out. or sometimes, you're just so defeated you can't even muster the strength to roll out of bed and deal with things.
though joy or pain, it's surprising just how candid people can become when their words are supported by a mattress or the cold reality of the floor.
